After Aaron finished work he went to Walmart to find some cheap water shoes we could wear in the river that he swam in yesterday so that the rocks didnt hurt our feet today. Well he couldn't find any - but ended up buying 2 floats that you lay on (meant for the pool). Anyways..we thought we would give it a go. It was over-cast and raining today but decided to go for it. Aaron got in first and it was FREEZING!!! We got out of the car and the temperature was 58F which is 12 degrees C!!! Then the water was about 35F which is about 1 degree Celcius!! So yeah - cold. Anyways..it was so much fun. The water has gotten pretty low over the past 2 weeks, but its still high enough for us to float down and the current is really strong. Its hard to stop yourself - its really hard to walk through the water - you get knocked over by the current alot and its hard to get up. At one point we decided to go down the river further then we had - where it was more rapid - but started hitting rocks pretty hard on our butts - so we tried to stop, but werent so successful. Haha - I got up and just keep falling and getting pushed down the river on the rocks - which HURT - and at one point when I got standing up, Aaron was pushed down and rammed into the back of my legs which made me fall again, completely loosing grip on my float bed. So Aaron SOMEHOW ran down the river (how he didnt slip on the slippery, uneven rocks with the rapids pushing him I'll never know) and got ahold of my float bed. Crazy. It was so much fun.

Blowing up our float beds for rafting

Got some photos on the way home

Just float'n

Aaron when he first got in - crazy cold
